The skill of cross-examining a witness is one which takes many months to learn and several years for an advocate to truly master. So why not start here with this fun, introductory workshop. The students attending will, initially, design a strategy to compromise the alibi of a defendant who is on trial for robbery. The Defendant and the person with whom it is alleged he has conspired will then be cross-examined by counsel, who will only raise questions which are suggested by the student audience until the alibi is busted. You should leave the workshop will a real sense of achievement!
