Meet Dame Siobhan Keegan, Northern Ireland’s first woman Lady Chief Justice. Dame Siobhan Keegan was appointed as a High Court Judge in October 2015.
Prior to becoming a judge, Dame Siobhan, a Queen’s University alumna, graduating with LLB Honours in 1993, was called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 1994 and became Queen’s Counsel in 2006. She has had a variety of judicial roles including as a Coroner and Chief Coroner, working on judicial reviews and as the Senior Family Judge.
She will speak about her career and her new role as the first woman Chief Justice in the UK
The event – in person – will be held in Middle Temple’s Parliament Hall with drinks and snacks available afterwards.
