Over half a million Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) related crimes were reported between October 2021 and March 2022, representing at least 16% of all recorded crime. This includes harm caused to victims and society by VAWG in all forms, including harassment, stalking, rape, sexual assault, murder, so-called honour-based abuse (SCHBA), and coercive control.
