The Law Society is running free workshops in May and June to support black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) solicitors, who are currently under represented in the judiciary.
If you’re a BAME solicitor with a minimum of 7 years’ PQE and you’d like to apply for a place, email jerry.garvey@lawsociety.org.uk with your CV and a cover letter outlining:
- why you consider yourself suitable for judicial appointment
- how you believe you would benefit from this course
- whether you’ve applied for judicial roles previously
- whether you’ve participated in any support schemes towards judicial appointment
The closing date for applications 7 May.
