The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is inviting nominations for the 2022/23 round of Queen’s Counsel (QC) honoris causa (honorary silk) awards.
The honorary QC award is an opportunity to recognise those in the profession who have made a major contribution to, and impact on, the law of England and Wales and how it is advanced, outside the courtroom.
All practitioners and members of the public are free to make nominations (including self-nominations, if they qualify) directly to the MoJ.
Nominations close at midday on Monday 29 August 2022.
The Law Society is a nominating body and we’ll be taking part in the process by nominating solicitor members, as in previous years. They are inviting people to nominate either themselves or others. A review panel will then select those who will go forward as nominees of the Law Society. Their deadline is midday on Friday 12 August.
