The Mayor’s Office for Policing And Crime (MOPAC) in London is looking for individuals to chair Police Misconduct Panels.
They are currently recruiting for the role of “Legally Qualified Chairs”. They preside over hearings around police officers’ misconduct and chair the Police Misconduct Panel, which is otherwise comprised of a superintendent police officer and an Independent Panel Member. The individuals need to be at least five years legally qualified.
In order to enhance the diversity of the field and ensure that these Misconduct Panels are representative of the broader community in London, they are hoping to reach a diverse group of candidates. They are genuinely interested in candidates who can bring a variety of experiences, ideas, and viewpoints to the panels.
The closing date for completed applications is 12 noon on Friday 20th October 2023.
