Law.com International reports that Linklaters is working with the University of Oxford on a new social mobility programme, as more firms look to redress how the legal sector supports talent from diverse backgrounds.
The two-year pre-university programme will see Linklaters work with Wadham College in a push to “support school and college students from less advantaged socio-economic backgrounds aspiring to study law and join the legal profession”, a statement said.
Students from non-selective state schools will receive tutoring and support, as well as university application and career advice.
