About:
Black Women In Law (“BWIL”) was established in the summer of 2020 and currently has over 500 members. BWIL aims to connect Black Women across the legal profession and those aspiring to enter into it and to foster a community of support for Black Women throughout their legal careers.
Through events (social and educational); mentoring; outreach; and other initiatives, BWIL intends to serve as a professional network for Black Women across the legal profession (and those aspiring to join it), providing opportunities for education and learning; personal and professional development; connecting; supporting; and celebrating each other.
