The Law Society recently launched a new report looking at the gender pay gap data for the largest law firms. It shows the average mean hourly pay gap in 2020 was 20.3% and the average median hourly pay gap was 32.4%. These figures are higher than the national average.
The report aims to assess the progress achieved so far, and what firms should consider to make sure reporting leads to action.
It includes useful benchmarking data and insights, enabling firms to reflect on their approaches whilst learning from their peers.
