
Many students across the UK undertaking university coursework, interviews and lectures from home during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Working Environments Survey by the 93% Club was conducted between 2nd January 2021 and 23rd February 2021 with the aim of assessing the impacts of remote working environments on state educated UK university students. Â
Over the eight-week period, the survey received 691 anonymous visual and written responses, of which 689 (98%) were UK university students spread across 79 UK institutions.
The key findings were that 77% of students believed their career prospects have been negatively impacted by their current working environment and that 87% believe their mental health has been negatively impacted by their workspace.
