Attend: Bi, Trans & Non-Binary Intersectionality: a Parallel Journey to Acceptance- 31 March

To mark Trans Day of Visibility 2021, Global Butterflies, the London Bisexual Network and the Law Society are partnering to host a panel on the intersectionality between being Trans or Non-Binary and Bisexual.

Being Trans or Non-Binary is a gender identity, not a sexual orientation. This means that a person can be Trans or Non-Binary and also identify as straight, Lesbian, Gay or Bisexual. The Bisexual community and the Trans and Non-Binary community often share similar experiences of acceptance and awareness from the cis, straight and LG communities.

This panel will explore these intersections and consider how the communities can work together to be better allies.

Emma Cusdin (Global Butterflies), Danni Davies (Latham & Watkins) and Luke Williams (The Law Society) will consider their own experiences of being Trans or Non-Binary and Bisexual. The event will be introduced by the President of the Law Society, I. Stephanie Boyce, and moderated by the Co-chair of the London Bisexual Network, Sian Jones.
