Advocate is a legal charity that matches barristers prepared to undertake pro bono work with those who need legal assistance but cannot access legal aid or afford to pay for help.

Advocate are currently looking for new trustees and they are especially keen to hire someone who is a member of the Bar, senior or junior. They are currently underrepresented from this with a practice centred outside the South East and those practicing in social welfare law, so those who meet this criteria are particularly encouraged to apply.

This would be a great opportunity for anyone in the Bar keen to support a charity with their knowledge and skills.

Find out more about this opportunity (and download the information pack) on their website.

The deadline for applications is midnight on Sunday 14th November.
